Carpal tunnel from using my phone

So embarrassing, but true.

My right wrist started hurting a while back from using my phone too much (scrawling and messaging on WhatsApp, I think). I haven’t used it in the same way for weeks, but symptoms of carpal tunnel have persisted - sore wrist and pins and needles.

My question is is it worth going to the doctor or can I treat it myself with a splint?

You need to stop using your phone like you already do, use a stand and reduce your use.
Yes to a splint if you have one.
Is there any chance you are anaemic as tingling in one hand/arm was a symptom for me

@KangarooKenny I was anaemia but iron much better now. So think it’s my phone. What’s a stand? Sorry to be thick 🙈

PUT IT DOWN OP.

I have carpal tunnel in my wrist since pregnancy. Doctor can’t do anything except suggest surgery with bad success rates which may make it worse.
