Hey everyone, I’ve been trying for a baby for a while now and nothing, I have pcos so I haven’t been ovulating for months. I do ovulation test round when the flo app says but nothing, this afternoon I had pain and some discharge I did a ovulation test and the test line is a lot darker but the control line is very light does this mean I’m ovulating or is this a invalid test, would love to even no my body is starting to ovulate again as I’ve been trying to loose a little weight and eat healthier to help this. Xx thanks ladies

The test line is supposed to be darker than the control line when it’s positive. Hey baby dancing ASAP!!

if it helps my test line was never as dark as yours is and I am currently 8 weeks pregnant

I think the key is to buy the very cheapest tests you can. Then when you can see a second line test twice daily otherwise you can miss the positive(darker line. This worked very well for me. I was days off when I just guessed

Hey ladies , just wondering if I’m taking pregnancy test too early, my periods are irregular so hard to work out, I did an ovulation test on 15th and it shown I was ovulating. So it’s been 10 day since then ? Is this still too early to show on a test, if so when is the right time? X

It might be a bit early, you could try a FRER as they’re pretty sensitive but keep in mind the risk of a false negative or a chemical if you test too soon. Having said that I tested 4 days before I was due with my daughter as I just had a feeling a got such a strong line that my friends teased that it might be twins - thankfully it wasn’t!

When you get your positive OPK, you ovulate 8 - 24 hours after so if you got your positive on 15th Jan, you could've ovulated 15th or 16th so you would be 10/9DPO today. The most common day for implantation is 9DPO although can happen any time between 6-10DPO and it takes 48 hours from implantation for HCG to be picked up on the most sensitive tests. So absolute earliest would be 8DPO but that's assuming you implant early, 11DPO would be more likely but a lot of people don't get a sniff of a positive until AF is late!!

If you can wait - hold out to 14DPO. If you can't, test whenever but just bare in mind the above and try not to get too disheartened if you get a BFN ❤️ best of luck OP! Xxx
