I must sleep with a pillow between my knees or suffer lower back pain the next day.

I used to be cool 😔

I usually put the duvet between my knees for the same reason. Rubbish, isn't it Sad

WeakAsIAm · 15/01/2023 13:57

I've progressed to a purpose made support pillow 🤦‍♀️
Next bath aids...I don't know what's happened to me.

MistyRock · 15/01/2023 14:01

I think I need this too. My restless legs are really playing me up.

@PlaitBilledDuckyPuss I've slept that way for years, but now need something to stop me rolling onto my front and sleeping with one leg up. Took me months to work out that that's why I'm waking up with a sore back.

I have a special memory foam pillow that I have to sleep with or I get a very sore neck. It comes on holiday with me. Blush

readingismycardio · 15/01/2023 14:13

I enjoy collecting the lint from the dryer Confused

HelpMeGetThrough · 15/01/2023 14:24

I'm at an age now, where I have to get up several times in the night, for a wee.

☺️

Ohgoodyanotherone · 15/01/2023 14:55

Going to bed at 10.30pm on a Saturday night is a "late one".

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 15/01/2023 14:56

I've slept with a pillow between my legs since the age of 21

Bluevelvetsofa · 15/01/2023 15:26

I daren’t have a bath, in case I slip down whilst lying back and can’t get out. I shower just isn’t the same.

Montague22 · 15/01/2023 15:28

I’ve done this since my early twenties. I have a thigh gap and it’s just way more comfortable!

Lkydfju · 15/01/2023 15:30

OP I think you might have just given me the answer to my lower back pain; I will be trying this tonight

VioletCharlotte · 15/01/2023 16:05

I do nearly all of these...pillow between legs, special neck pillow (mine comes on holiday too) and getting up in the night for a wee.

I'm 47. God knows what the future holds!

grayhairdontcare · 15/01/2023 16:22

I sound like a glow stick cracking when I get up out of a chair

WhatDoYouWantNow · 15/01/2023 16:23

I'm old (63) and make the noise that old people do when they sit down, and again when I get up.

Seeingadistance · 15/01/2023 17:32

I wear my reading glasses on a chain round my neck.

Comeback25 · 15/01/2023 17:56

Take painkillers every day for pain......knees, back, shoulder, head. They all take turns ffs.

MrsMoastyToasty · 15/01/2023 18:09

I make an "oooff" sound when I stand up after getting off the sofa and an "aaahhh" sound when I sit down again.

TheOtherBoleynGirls · 15/01/2023 18:13

I’m now at the age where I have to move a phone or book around to get it at the right distance to see. And that’s with glasses already.

Varifocals are clearly in my near future!

AreOttersJustWetCats · 15/01/2023 18:15

Some of you may have tried this already, but I swear by pilates for lower back pain. I was getting back pain badly in the mornings after a night in bed, but regular pilates has made a huge difference. I have barely any issues at all now.

HeathenPlayingHouse · 17/01/2023 10:46

OP, you are my favourite person right now- I tried sleeping with a pillow between my knees the last 2 nights after reading your post, and for the first time in I can't remember, I woke up pain free. Thank you!
