I am considering applying for a full time post ( 2 are on offer) but not sure full time is practical for us as a family. At what stage should I ask if the company would consider a job share?

Don't! Ask for four days a week, or compressed hours. Job share means they'd then have to advertise again for a job share partner who could fit your hours - and if one person leaves the who job share falls apart.

Thank you. The advert did mention that the job might be over 4 long days, which would be good.
