Have you bought a nice bookmark lately? Where from?

Maybe a bit random, but, I'm normally a spine breaker & corner turner. However, I know dd2 would enjoy the series I'm currently reading so I'm trying not to do either (I also suspect they were bought for my birthday because dd2 wanted to read them too 🤣).

Any ideas where to look for something pretty, or maybe unusual?

I like resin bookmarks on Etsy because they can contain anything! Flowers, glitter, etc.

Waterstone's have a nice selection. I bought a little copper fox that fits on the corner of the page. They've also got some nice copper colour decorative initials.

Try little independent gift shops and art galleries and museums

Oh I do like a nice bookmark.

I usually go to Etsy and buy there for unusual finds.

@lucysmam I've had some nice ones from Waterstones in the past. And Etsy is also good for bit more unusual ones, I want to try fabric corner ones I've seen on there

I tend to use nice/interesting post cards as book marks.

I wouldn't want anything thicker as that could also distort the spine of the book.

I used receipts in an emergency, any old scrap of paper will work until you find a dream bookmark.

Or I use the ones the kids made for mother's day etc
