Wedding - children

We are getting married later this year and we have young children. 3 year old & 9 month old.

Who looked after your children in the morning whilst you were getting ready? Or did they spend the morning with you? (Brides)

Did they sit with you both during the wedding breakfast or with family?
And finally where did they sleep on the night of the wedding ?

Just need to start making arrangements for them when we will both be busy so I know they are safe and being looked after.

I would love any advice from those that have the same experience.

Thanks!

Getting married in December ds will be almost 4. He will be getting ready with his dad and staying over in his nans room. Not thought too much about seating yet.

I know when my sil was a bridesmaid recently the brides young kids(girls and a bf baby) stayed with the bride with the bridesmaid and mother of the bride helping out.

DS (then aged fourteen months) ‘helped’ me get ready. It wasn’t too bad though: my bridesmaid distracted him as I had my hair and makeup done!

He sat with us for the wedding breakfast and he spent the night with us which was rather exhausting as he wasn’t sleeping through at that point!
