Has anyone got any experience of applying for one of these?

General situation is someone posting threats online and reporting me to my employer for made up allegations (like really bizarre ones that I don't even need to rebut because my higher ups think they are unhinged). I don't know the person but they know where I live and work and have my contact details. The police aren't interested.

I have contacted a few solicitors but waiting to hear back.

First thing is to get a solicitor to write them a cease and desist letter.

I know their real name but nothing else about them.

Yes speak to a solicitor and go to the police harassment is criminal.

Please contact the Suzy Lamplugh Trust for guidance and support. The police don't get to not be interested in this. It's a crime. I know of others in your situation who have benefited from support and have been able to push the police to take action. Terrible that this should be necessary.
