Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my spot. I've only been up half an hour or so & feel refreshed for the lie in. The washer's on already but that's it for housework for the day - the rest is reasonable & will do until next week, I'm having a weekend "off-ish".

I'm nipping into town when the washing's hung; dd2 needs school tights and I want to see if the cake decorating supplies shop I remember being in town, is still there.

Dd2 wanted to come with me but is still sleeping atm so I may leave her to it, she's sounded like she's coming down with a cold for the past couple of days.

Later on I want to read some more of my new book, and maybe paint my nails. I need to prep next Tuesday's Rainbow and Guide meetings too but might do that tomorrow. I've been procrastinating over which new crochet project to start too - village or a blanket for me - so maybe I'll make that decision 🤷‍♀️

Not sure what's for tea yet, I'll look later. There will be a glass or two of wine though🍷

Also planning a weekend 'off-ish' here too. Back in bed with a cuppa at the mo. I have got a load of washing in and need to be a bit of cleaning. DD is off out later so I'm planning a day at home and hopefully starting one of the new books I got for Christmas. Chinese for dinner tonight. Tomorrow i have to get a tyre replaced on my car and will pop and see DM for a coffee and a catch up. Might do a roast if I can be bothered. Have a good weekend OP.

A quiet one planned here too. I’m not feeling 100% so taking it easy. Have some admin I could do but might just lie about and read. DH is just back from Tesco and is cooking a cottage pie later for dinner.

Another one with a weekend "off" ish! An absolute exhausting week for me and I went to bed at 8pm last night and haven't long woken up. DH has made me tea and toast and I'm about to get a bath.

This afternoon we are heading into town for DC haircut, Costa then probably the library. I've got some parcels to post aswell. Will pick up something from m and s for tea maybe one of the Chinese or Indian boxes they do they are pretty good value and we can pad it out with bits and bobs.

The usual wine and TV with DH when DC asleep.

I have just come back from slimming world and I'm now doing a bit of a tidy, I'll be going to the butchers and greengrocers in a bit and then go to Tesco for bits! My husbands just got a call out to Blackpool so I'm then gonna build some Lego with my boy!

DS had a friend sleep over last night, so he’s doing is homework before the tiredness hits.

We’ve been to Lidl to get frankfurters for supper. Might walk to the local library later to get some fresh air. I’ve got to fit a new mudguard on DS’s bike. Otherwise it’s a lazy day.

In bed with a coffee and the cat. Meant to be reading my book but procrastinating on here. DD9 has joined a reading group at the library so I will get up to take her in a bit. DH got up this morning to take her to her swimming lesson. Most of the washing is done (wfh all week this week) so just a bit of hoovering to be done. Drum lesson later for me and piano for dd. Apprentice later. That's it really. Have a good day x

Good morning lucysmam and everyone,
I have not long got up from a lie in and am pottering round in the kitchen, waiting for the kettle. DH is out with the dogs.
This morning, I am making vegetable curry out of all the odd veg and cleaning the fridge, prior to DH going shopping.

Then I've got to get the front door ready for my builders to bring in a long ladder, for the work in the hall. We live in an ex shop and the front doors open directly into one of the rooms, (covered up by an inner door with a fake fireplace) and I block it up with loads of insulation after the Halloween trick or treat. I don't usually open it up until Spring, so a bit early this year, and I hope it isn't full of spiders.
DH is doing laundry today, and he will be on the alert for the screams.

This afternoon, I am going to the cinema with a friend, in a seaside town, so we can also have a walk along the beach, followed by fish and chips.
This evening, I will catch up on the Snooker, with a Baileys (decaf) coffee.

Exhausting week here too! Sheer bad timing saw me move house AND try to arrange comms for the biggest event in my company's history on the very same day. Incredibly stressful.

But we're in, the event went well and now I can relax a bit. Got up at 7.30am with DS and had a marathon Lego session. Just about to jump in the shower then we've got a nice family day pit planned as we neglected DS a bit last weekend to get the house packed and cleaned.

Fajitas and Prosecco for tea then a couple of episodes of Happy Valley 👍🏻

Morning everyone. I got up early as working next weekend. So sorting out DS2s clothes, as going to the tip at lunch time (Ds1 and I sorted our clothes yesterday) as they sell the clothes in their charity shop. Then making American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for lunch. Bit of organising this afternoon and letting the kids chill as they've had a busy week. I might try out my new hair straighteners and put some outfits together for my new job. I may iron my outfits and kids uniforms. Chicken tikka skewers, rice and salad for dinner. Then chilling with DH when he gets home from work, but if family tv then a film or another episode of Manifest before bed.

Bit of family tv - flipping autocorrect! I'm hankering after a nice glass of red later but doing 'dry January' so not sure lol

Had a big lie in after 10 days straight at work. Fake sausage and hash browns for breakfast and I'll catch up on some housework and a few TV episodes today.

DH and I going to dinner and trying a new local bar later.

Am still in bed with the dog drinking coffee.
weather atrocious and working this pm until 8 so absolutely no plan for this am apart from get up soon,shower and change into work uniform

Good morning everyone. There must be something in the water because I’m also having a weekend off-ish. It’s the only weekend throughout the whole of January where we have no plans.

Dh is working today, dd15 has gone into school to do an art catch up class, dd8 is playing outside with her friend on their roller skates, dd18 is fast asleep after working last night and I’ve just put the food shop away and put the washer on and I’m now sitting in a lovely, quiet house with my cup of tea.

I cleaned the house top to bottom on Thursday so it’s not looking too bad today so no housework is needed apart from the basics. I need to pop to my sister’s house later and drop off birthday cards and cash for her twins as it’s their birthday this week and I also need to call in to the uniform shop on my way back as dd8’s new cardigan has fallen apart after only wearing it for 2 days.

Other than that I’ve nothing to do. We were meant to be having curry for tea but I forgot to order the chicken so it’ll either cook something else or pick some chicken up while I’m out if I can be bothered. Then tonight we’ll drop dd18 at work then probably find a film to watch before bed.

footy has been cancelled because of the weather so instead of an early start and a morning in mud we’ve all had a lie in and a late breakfast. I’m waiting for a headache to recede so I can go do some work that needs doing before a meeting tomorrow- not ideal but rarely happens. Kids will do their homework and a bit of Minecraft probably. DH is going shopping later. Dog walk this afternoon, most likely in the rain! We’ll light a fire later and probably watch some episodes of The Dog House all together.
Tomorrow will be a potter and housework day - I pulled everything out of the attic storage last weekend to sort but that is as far as I got 😂

OH and YD off to Blighty tomorrow, so it will be just me and the big dog for the next nine days. Have cleaned the kitchen. It’s raining, so no point in putting any washing on. Going out for dinner later as it’s YD’s last night. OH has gone shopping to buy things to put olive oil into, and think ED’s boyfriend wanted some honey, so he’s gone to get that too. Am contemplating getting the hoover out as I’m cold, and due to having aforementioned big dog.

It's my 33rd birthday on Monday (blue Monday 🙈) and I'm 35 weeks pregnant but making the most of it 😁 went out for a nice dinner with DP last night after DD7 went off to her Dad's, DP is currently doing the housework and I'm eating pancakes in bed. Going for a late lunch at Byron Burger and then to see the Whitney film with my friends this afternoon and then tomorrow we will go for my 'birthday dinner' with my parents at Pizza Express once DD gets home. Have a lovely weekend all x

I’m about to sort out the laundry while DH hoovers the house. I have been on 3 hikes of 8,8,5 miles this week and got covered in mud so lots of laundry. I will be wearing my new hiking boots round the house to start breaking them in.

DH is watching the match at 12.30 so I will go on my games console for a couple of hours. I may pop in to town with DS who is getting his haircut and pick up a couple of bits. Probably playing board games tonight after dinner as his girlfriend is round and they are not going out. I want to watch the next episode of Happy Valley as well.

Just back and showered from a very wet and muddy parkrun with DC. It's the first one we've got to this year and was very tempted to stay in bed but glad we went now.

I have loads of washing to do today. Might read a book later. I think we'll prob end up walking round the pub for dinner and a few drinks this evening.

Morning everyone. Usual classes with dd this morning, then she’s getting her haircut (wants to get it all cut off 😢). Need to get a few bits in town as well. Dp and ds are off to the footy this afternoon then we’re all going to the theatre this evening.

Quieter day tomorrow hopefully!

Been to swimming lesson with DD2. She has tap in an hour and DD1 has tumbling.
They are off to their dads this afternoon till tomorrow so i am off to my parents and then a walk and pub lunch with my friends tomorrow.

Good morning everyone, we’ve been to story time at the library this morning.

Last weekend it was Millwall football, this weekend its Millwall rugby, I’ve been lazy and decided to treat myself to an uber rather than tube and walking to the match today. I was meant to be there at 11, so yeah, obviously going to be quite late for a 12 kick off.

This afternoon I don’t have any plans, we might have a mini pub crawl after rugby. My husband and the smalls aren’t doing much today, park for a bit later, but apart from that mainly being lazy at home. We didn’t do Friday film night, so we’ll do that tonight instead, my son has picked homeward bound.

I was awake early after cat woke me to let her out then back in refuses to use the litter tray . So I’ve been awake googling holidays / drinking coffee and doing a bit of cleaning /washing etc . Weather here is rubbish , very glum was hoping to go for a walk with dc this afternoon if it brightens a little as could do with buying some beef for tomorrow’s dinner but not sure if can be bothered now .
I need to figure out what to eat for tea tonight plus I’ll have couple of wines with Saturday night tv .

Up early this morning and got all the housework done. DP and I are off out today, first we’re going to a VR experience to kill some zombies then we’re going to a posh chippy for lunch.

Tonight I hope to start reading Prince Harry’s book and maybe we’ll watch the last episode of mayflies
