Cyrprus, Canaries or Costa del Sol at Easter

I've never been away at Easter before & am trying to weigh up the options.

Am I right in thinking the Canaries would have the best weather?

Is it warm enough to use swimming pools at that time of year?

Any advice/info/experience appreciated- thanks

We were in Gran Canaria last Easter and it was idyllic. Not too hot but warm enough to swim and sunbathe.

What types of temperatures have you experienced there?

A quick google seems to indicate 16 degrees in Costa del sol, maybe 18-20 in Cyprus.

CDS could be great, could be naff, you certainly couldn't use a pool unless heated and nights will be cold

On the other hand there'll likely be a fiesta or parade somewhere if you go to CSL. Easter in Spain is intense.

Canaries are warm year round really. You can sunbathe in February.

Windy though.

We went to Cyprus last April - was about 23 in average all week. Couple of days a bit hotter.. Was lovely for sunbathing. Our hotel pools were quite cold though as they were only heated by the sun. Was ok once you were in and swimming but took some getting in!

I would go again in April but would book somewhere with a heated pool.

Sounds like Canaries are a better option & I need to ensure a heated pool - the kids are water babies & are generally in the pool all day.

weve done canaries in February and Cyprus in Late April, I’d say we had the best weather in canaries. There were a couple of rainy days in Cyprus which apparently they don’t normally get. I’d definitely go for canaries.

if your travelling with children OP you should definitely plan to go to the water park, it’s in amazing!

Canaries, for reliable weather would be your best bet.
