Best bits of Dublin

Going to Dublin for the weekend (have been before a number of times). What are your ‘must see or do’ activities?

2 adults, no children.

What are your specific interests?

We’ll have a go at anything really, it’s a girly, old friend weekend.

Guinness storehouse and Gravity bar. Going in Feb.

Watch Travel Man. Joe Lycett.

Dart to Dalkey. Breakfast in the Corner note cafe, walk down to Coliemore harbour, up to sorrento terrace, up the Vico Rd stopping on a bench to take in the views, to the top of the hill at Killiney Stores, back down the hill past the hotel and back to Dalkey, pint sitting outside Finnegans in the sun (I hope the sun shines for you OP!)

Or if you have time, walk to Dun Laoghaire and have an ice cream in Teddy's before you catch the Dart back to town.

Stick to Dawson/Sth Anne/Clarendon Street areas. Slightly West of there is Camden Street where it's all happening. South of the river is better and safer than North of it. Avoid Temple Bar, no real Dub would go near that place.

Hello, does anyone have a recommendation for the best hop-on-hop-off city bus tour of Dublin. Buying 2 tickets as a gift. Sadly, the recipients are going on the exact two days that the vintage tea bus doesn’t run, as I would have booked that in a heartbeat. Thanks
