HyCosy - dye slow to go not getting through left tube

On my way back from HyCosy. Apparently the dye was really slow to get through. They waited for it to get through both of the tubes. Eventually they saw it getting through right tube. Left tube some got through at the very end but very little. Does it potentially mean my left tube is not functioning properly? Did anyone had anything like this happen to them?

They were not able to confirm for sure and said I would need early scan due to ectopic risk.

I'm sitting on a train now and just don't know what to make out of it. They were at it for at least 30min as well. I have consultation next week. Any word of advice would be much appreciated xxx

@BandyButter83 hi hope you don’t mind me responding to this I got very similar news recently too regarding left tube. Have you gone on to conceiving if you don’t mind me asking thanks

This happened to me nearly 9 years ago and I conceived immediately after- the dye opened up my tube on one side and I was lucky enough to ovulate on that same side (could tell from my 12 week scan). DD2 is now 8 - so don't lose hope 😘

I conceived shortly after this procedure. Seemed to clear tubes at least temporarily
