Mum leaving sweary messages on answer machine

Every time my mum calls me and I'm not in, she leaves me a sweary message on the answer machine.

I have young kids. I'm in not in waiting all day for her call ( she very rarely calls me, only if she needs something. Normally I call her). Having a really shitty week, I come home to the answer machine flashing. So she has heard the "sorry we are not in" then waited for the beep to mutter oh fucks sake, fucking fuck. No message, no " oh call me once you get in. She always does this.

So please can I also have a sweary rant?

LEAVE a FUCKING MESSAGE AND SORRY I DARED LEAVE THE HOUSE! Also I know you didn't ask because you don't care but no I'm not fine.

Why can't I have a normal mother? I dread checking my messages even though she very rarely calls she always does this

Turn the answerphone facility off? I only ever get scam/nuisance calls on my landline anyway. You'll be blissfully unaware she called!

Turn it off.
She can always phone you back later.

Most of the rare messages are useful. I told dh to check the messages before but he tells me mum phoned and left a swearing barage of swear words. I told to not tell me as why would I need to know she's left me abuse.

Could you put something at the end of your answerphone message? Like, 'and if this is you Mum, please remember your grandkids, and say what you have to say without swearing, and that way, I might just get back to you'. . .

I git rid of the answerphone on my landline years ago, just do that.

Very tempted to do this. The kids do hear it when I play it back. I also have no idea if she wants me to call her as she held on just to swear
