Longterm Movicol

Hello,
My 3 1/2 year old has been struggling with poo potty training for over a year. I looked at the Eric website and suspected overflow as we had dry lumps several times a day in the knickers. The dr advised 1 Movicol sachet a day and after about a week she started passing nice normal poos.
After continuing this for about a month she is now passing moussey mushy poos, quite liquidy a few times a day. I’m confused! Is it overflow again? Or is the Movicol too much?!
When on Movicol long term are you aiming for normal poos or slush? Long post! Thanks!
