Just eat and refunds

Does anyone know anything about refunds? I got my children a takeaway on just eat last night but when the food came it was someone else’s order 😒 my order was £23 and the order I got cost about £8, my kids wouldn’t eat it as it was fish and it wasn’t even enough to feed them anyway so went in the bin. I complained to just eat with pics saying I wanted to be refunded onto my payment card but they have only refunded to the just eat account. I wasn’t planning to order again it was a one off treat as my shopping (online) had also messed up so wasn’t coming till today. Surely I’m entitled to be refunded onto my card?

Keep at them for full refund. I ordered once through them, only half the food came was cold etc, restaurant wouldn't re do the order. Justeat gave full refund

To your card? They’ve given me a refund just it’s credit on my just eat account, I told them on my first email I don’t want it on my just eat account.

Get on to their live chat, I've had the money returned to my account before.
They can absolutely refund it to your card and cancel the credit on your account.

Just to add, it did take around 4 days to go back to my account, it wasn't instantaneous 😑

Honestly they are lying now saying I requested to be refunded to my just eat account so won’t refund me ? It says refund to my card!

Also they don’t appear to have a live chat only an email (no phone number) they just keep repeating that I asked for account credit 🤦🏻

ThIs has just happened to me! I’d deleted their app last year due to the poor customer service but reinstalled last weekend when no other delivery drivers were available. Shouldn’t have bothered! After receiving someone else’s order at 1/3rd of the cost I’m now on day 6 of trying to get my refund back onto my debit card. It’s ridiculous!
