Ideas for a year of celebrations

Big birthday coming up and rather than having a party (don't want to be the centre of attention) would like to come up with a kind of bucket list to achieve over the year. Don't have loads of money so thinking of a mix of free activities, a few visits and so on. Some things to do with family/friends e.g. a day trip or afternoon tea.

Hoping for ideas that I wouldn't have thought of to expand my horizons. If you had a bucket list of small things what would be on it?

I've just had a milestone birthday and decided similar. Obviously it depends on what sort of activity you enjoy, but here are three of the things I have booked/planned so far:

Afternoon tea with cocktails overlooking the river
Historical tales by candlelight at a cathedral
BBC Earth Experience

Here are some of my ideas for a similar list:
Try a new flavour of ice cream every month (if you like ice cream, I love it!)
Go stargazing / visit a dark sky park
Go on the Harry Potter studio tour
Take the Eurostar to Paris for a night

Other things which I enjoyed but can't do for this birthday because I did them very recently:

Immersive art experience
Lux muralis show
Steam train journey

Other things on my 'possible' list:

Axe throwing
Cirque du soliel
Tour of abandoned tube station

Watch the sunrise from a local beauty spot
Climb a mountain
(I wouldn't, but one I heard) Do a wild swim
Declutter a room (or your loft, or a book case or where-ever suits you)
Do something for other people - volunteer to cook at a street kitchen or one of the warm spaces that have sprung up, or organise a collection of goods for whatever charity interests you - be that baby equipment, or toiletries, or things for a food bank
Sing at a karaoke
Do a park run (or a 5k or a 10k or a marathon or a couch to 5k - whatever would be a challenge for you)
Offer your professional skills to a charity for a project
Commit to saying something nice / complimentary to somebody every day for a month - or for more of a challenge, to a stranger
Read - a book a month if you aren't a reader, or all the books you've not read from one of the 'Top 100 books Ever' type lists, if you are already a reader
Have a 'no screens day' each week, or 'no screens evening' and find something else to do during that time (might be a craft or board games or planning gardening or cooking or learning to play bridge or something or learning to paint)
Write a letter every month to friends 'just because'

Some great ideas thank you. The charity ones, parkrun and afternoon tea were on my list but definitely adding a lot of the others.
