Passports please help

Hi can anyone help please

I need to renew my passport, renew one of my children’s and also apply for 2 new passports for my other two children.

Do I have to renew my passport first separately before I renew/apply for first passports for my children?

No. I have just renewed my expired passport and applied for first passports for my children at the same time.

Did you do it all online? Did you have to send off the old passports/documents through the post or anything?

All online and you can send everything off in one envelope. Was way more simple than I had imagined.

I’m in the process of renewing mine. Submitted the online application last Thursday and it has been accepted and printed already. Got a text today saying it’s being handed to the distributors. DH’S also only took ten days. Much simpler than last time. Once you’ve submitted your application you have to send off your old one.

That’s brilliant, for some reason was imagining it to be over complicated and having to get a new passport before I can apply for any of my kids 🤣 thanks for letting me know
