I made an online order on December the 14th. I was thinking maybe I would get it before the Christmas. I got an email to say that I will get the item in January because they are closed now. I ordered from a small business and they closed and went away for the Christmas.
I emailed them last week to see the status of the order and shipping and they said they were away over Christmas and it will be dispatched on Monday and I should have it by Thursday of next week. That's today. There's still no order in the mail. This is ridiculously long now at this stage and it really shouldn't be dragged out any more. I emailed them this morning to require about my order but they didn't respond. My account on their shop says my order is 'on hold'.
How do I go about navigating this? I am interested in the item and I don't want to cancel the order and ask for a refund but if I was to go down that route it might hurry them up at making some progress with dispatch.
