Fluoxetine side effects anyone ?

I'm nearly 4 months post partum and throughout my pregnancy my anxiety and ocd was at the worst it's ever been, so I started on 50mg sertraline and went upto 100mg once my baby was here, I felt so much better on it, like really happy ! But the night sweats I've been getting were horrendous, waking up soaked and having to change in the night and wash bedsheets everyday is just not something else I need to do !!
So as of Monday I've switched to fluoxetine, which I was on years ago after my first was born. I'm having real dizziness though, it's almost like I'm drunk? Is this normal will it settle down ? I just feel wobbly, hard to describe

It levels off and settles. Maybe a fortnight? Good luck, hope this works for you.

Yes, it was like that for me for a couple of weeks. I also felt nauseous but found that drinking fizzy water in little sips worked wonders!

I had bad night sweats with fluoxetine too though that doesn't necessarily mean you will!

Any affects do level off after a couple of weeks. Fluoxetine was brilliant for me. I took for 6months with no real side affects except grinding my teeth at night.

Ahh thanks everyone. I had the same issue with sertraline years ago, made me sweat at night so badly !!
I'm just worried with fluoxetine as it did make me feel a little numbish last time !! I've been felt really happy on sertraline
