I always believed I am just a person who needs a lot of sleep to function. My whole family are big sleepers and nappers so I assumed it was just genetic.
However it's now out of control. I'm sleeping 12hrs most nights and can't get through a day without a nap.
I've had blood tests - all fine.
I exercise - it helps but I often have a nap before or afterwards.
I'm now wondering if it's made worse by being on prozac for years and years (10yrs +).
Anyone any experience of this? I feel very inadequate compared to rest of the world who seem to cope perfectly well on 6-8hrs sleep.
