Prescribed diazepam about six weeks ago, told by GP and CMHT to take regularly for a fortnight which I did, then stopped with ill effects (2mg 3 x a day) .
Was then given another two boxes on 22nd December (42 x 2mg), I was taking roughly 1-3 a day (maximum of 3).
Last tablet was Monday night .
I’m now in hell. I’m in pain all over, can’t eat, grinding my teeth, severe headache, can’t even bear to sit up, can’t get warm (no fever), nose and eyes streaming, stomach cramps and nausea.
I’ve had valium withdrawal before a few years ago and recognise this as the same . I think it lasted a week last time .
I don’t know what to do. I can’t think of anything I could do that would settle it .
