Would like to enquire if being a paid participant is worthwhile, albeit just small pocket money.

What advice might you give?

Thank you

I do some things for a company called UserTesting. You do website activities called talk out loud where you might look for an item on a website and pretend to buy it and describe how the process has been. I only do a few a week because I can't do them at work but earn around £100 a month doing them. You earn around $10 a go which is around £8 at the moment. I did do surveys but they used to take around 20 minutes for around 20p so wasn't really worth it.

Many thanks for that insight, appreciated.

I’m a researcher and I would say, if you have the time and you can find ones that actually pay, then it’s worth doing. Unfortunately, most people who participate in online surveys online do it for the money so don’t respond truthfully, so increasingly surveys are simply non-paid ones where you are entered into a drawing for the chance to win a gift voucher. You may have more luck with market research or product testing, but I wouldn’t know where to find those. There is a website called Call for Participants though that has lots of research opportunities, so you may try there.

Hello, Thank you for responding, it cannot be fullproof for these companies to be certain of their feedback.
I will not dive in, but just look into this a little more first.

Many thanks
