Late periods at 43

Had anyone else had sketchy cycles around this age. 8 days late. Hoping for a miracle triple rainbow baby but feel that peri menopause is likely?

Day 33 of a usual 27Day cycle I'm 43 today!

It will probably start now.

My periods started to change at 44 - 19 days to 4 months after a lifetime of a period every 27/28 days. But it could be a pregnancy !

I did at that age. Went 6 weeks over (not pregnant), had a heavy cycle, another odd cycle then settled back for a few years. Started changing again around 48th birthday.

I came on to post a similar question. I'm 45 and have been on a 30 day cycle for the last 10 years but now 7 days late. DH had the snip 8 years ago so I would be very surprised if it's pregnancy related! Wondering whether to do a test just in case or assume it's a peri thing.

I had my youngest at 43. Very possible.

I'm in the same boat husbands had the snip and I've completey missed a period age nearly 45 done some home perimenopause tests which have all been positive x
