Evri not taking payment?

Trying to do an Evri return and it says "your payment cannot be authenticated" for either card. Is it safe to assume it's a problem on their site? Never had this before when using them. It's not worth the vortex of hell trying their customer services so thought I'd ask here.

I have had the same problem with Evri over the past few days, I tried 3 times, you may want to check your bank account as they have taken 3 X payments without sending me the postage labels 😡. I rang them up and they have stated there are software problems with the site and told me to contact my bank as they have no records of payments going through!!

Jay thanks for flagging that. I've checked and it's not gone out but I have a few returns to do, so now I know to be vary of that, thank you.

Hi I have had the same problem, I tryed to send a parcel 3 of them and I had the same message pop up when I paid, but I check my bank as I tryed it 3 times and they have taken 19.08 3 times from my bank and this was on sat and money still hasent gone back in.
The problem with evri you can't bloody ring them it's all on a chat system and I still haven't heard back from them, I had to go with dpd and they were cheaper I just want my money back.

I’ve got the same issue, tried to pay twice - site wouldn’t accept card. Finally paid on their app. Checking my bank account I have 2 pending transactions for the failed attempts. I agree it’s so frustrating that you can’t contact Evri and speak to a person.

There is a way you can speak to a human rather than a robot. You will need to follow these steps.

You will need a tracking number, any tracking number will do that you have previously used.

Ring 0330 8085456

Jump through the automated hoops, enter the tracking number, the system will tell you of it's been delivered/received, wait a few seconds and you will have more options and one of those options would be talk to someone 😃

Having said that they won't be much help, they'll tell you to contact your bank 😠

Been trying all morning to send off a parcel, cant speak to them, if I enter a random number the options go to another automated system, crock of shite.
Just need to send off a parcel of goods ASAP

I don't think you need to worry about the bank saying it has been taken 3 times. They get a notification and it is actually a 'pending' payment which won't be followed up by Evri.
I panicked when I saw a £99 fuel bill, this was the authorised amount. The payment went through with the amount I put in.
