London lunch afternoon tea this Friday

Going to see Book of Mormon Friday afternoon. It starts at 2.30pm so need to be there for 2ish.

Going out for dinner at 7.15pm so will need to have something to eat before the show.

Any good places near by for a light lunch & a couple of drinks?

Can get a cab if a bit further away.

Was possibly thinking afternoon tea, but might be too early for that?

Also nowhere too posh. Will be wearing smart jeans, nice top & jacket with either boots or smart trainers.

If it were me it would be The Delaunay. Nice vibe, casual dress fine. Lots on menu depending if you want a light lunch or afternoon tea things.

I would go tapas because then you can have as much or as little as you want.
Barrafina or Sabor would potentially fit the bill & are not a hugely long walk away from the theatre.

Thanks both of you. Will have a look at those. A friend also mentioned a restaurant called Pix in Carnaby, think it's like tapas where you can have lots of picky bits. Anyone tried it?
