Is anyone able to tell me what salary rises and bonuses are like at senior manager level at the big four in non-client facing roles?

Glassdoor is failing to provide much clarity and mumsnet is often a fountain of knowledge!

Search previous posts. Someone asks this at least once a week.

I’ve been here years and not once seen post asking this question.

How long is a piece of string...my biggest raises have been moving between the four not in staying in the same firm. Non client facing covers a broad range of roles.

I always find it strange that someone who is (presumably) capable of a 'big job' thinks that somewhere like MN is a good place to ask this sort of thing.

Yes I know half of MN are doing such jobs, but it wouldn't be great if a hiring manager/colleague recognised a potential recruit asking for information here in an ill defined way that's unlikely to get a sensible answer, especially as these sorts of firms tend to set pay on an individual basis, rather than having set pay scales like the public sector.

What are the big four?

(And ...sniffles.. does me not knowing this mean I will never be at part of them whatever they are? )
