Can I walk around the grounds on a Monday when it is closed? Just wondered what the access situation is.

I think it's accessible until fairly late. My DCs scout group have used it for night walks on Monday evenings after 7pm this year.

Yes you can. The house and farm close. The grounds are still beautiful. There’s a large play park and tea rooms open.

The two I know of are both closed on Mondays. But if you went on another day both are about 20 min away:
