Isn’t it dark and gloomy

Bloody weather and time of year
roll on spring

It’s a beautiful crisp sunny frosty morning here in central Scotland. Even when it’s gloomy I enjoy being all cosy inside , although to be honest I think it’s been too warm recently here ! I enjoy the seasons for what they are , and love the changing of each one .

I do get what you mean though when there is gloomy weather.
It did seem a bit lighter for longer yesterday evening

It was awful here yesterday but gorgeous blue sky and sunshine today! And the days are already getting longer - on the school run this morning the sun was already rising, it's lovely!

Wet and windy here but it did seem light a little later last night

Bright blue sky and sunshine here. Yesterday was thunder and lightning with lots of heavy rain and I loved it.

Sunny here, NW coast. Temp’s above average, too, which is a worry.

I quite like that looming ominous daytime darkness, when the sky goes purple and quiet; then there's a real downpour; then the sky abruptly clears to a pale blue, and the brightness of the sunshine glitters off the wet grass and leaves.

Quite sunny here today but only on and off.

It's nice when it's sunny, but I do find during January that cloudy mornings can seem to stay dark a really late.

I like it.

It's a lovely winter morning here in Worcestershire. A nice breeze and the sun is shining!

I'm the west of Scotland and it's dark, wet and windy here but I don't really mind it all that much.

It has been gloomy and sodden here (London) but not as bad today.

Sunshine here, after two days where the weather forecast was about as inaccurate as the late Paul Mariner in front of goal.
