Me too. I don't know how I function most days. Just used to it I suppose. The stress and worry about not sleeping makes it worse.

I use cbd oil on mild insomnia nights which works.
Or 5thp on really bad nights but that makes you have vivid dreams not nightmares so far and I get a bit sweaty. So I save that for desperate times.

...don't take 5HTP if you already take an SSRI type antidepressant. I made that mistake and gave myself serotonin syndrome!

How do you use it? I've some I bought for my dads cancer treatment which he never even got a chance to open before he died (another layer of my stress).

Just a few shirts under the tongue at bed time. I use love cbd online not stuff from Holland and barter etc. It seems to work. Also calms me down when feeling anxious. Not hugely but takes the edge off.

I'm not on antideps so that's ok with the zz5htp

I second the Magnesium supplement - it has transformed my sleep after years of insomnia (also stress/menopause related). I'd read the research years ago on the benefits, wish I'd started sooner!

Magnesium threonate helps me get to sleep.
It doesn’t stop the early wake ups when I have PMT unfortunately.

ladt night I was absolutely shattered after a really busy, non stop week and weekend.
yet I was still awake at 2,3,4 and just lay there until 7 when I got up.

So I have been awake all night going into another really busy week with little chance of catching up.
move a 12 hour day ahead of me today too.

It’s miserable.

didn’t relalt work much for me but I still keep trying

I fall asleep easily but wake up a few times a night.

I can't take HRT anymore. I've tried CBD oil & that didn't work.

I now listen to boring podcasts, headphone in one ear and I put it on timer. Sends me back to sleep, works 9 times out of 10.
