What other sport is outing

Just catching up with a few different threads and one has the OP saying
they couldn't put what the partners sport is as it would be outing.

I always think it's cycling but surely not everyone does that.
What about smaller sports.
Dominos
Darts
Bowls.
Snooker
Pool.

If you want to say what sport your partner does now is the time to announce.
My partner does 2 of the above. And I go with him and enjoy watching.

I think it is almost always golf, football, cycling, motorsport, triathlon, or climbing. None of which are outing but all can take up huge amounts of time.
Even the small sports like waterpolo, equestrian vaulting or floor ball aren't exactly outing tbh, unless you are complaining about your 40 something para triathlete husband who is competing for GB leaving his leg behind at Dorney then maybe that is outing but only to a tiny number of people

Morris dancing is fairly niche, I think...

Cycling is not outing, 10,000s of cyclists rude down my road alone every weekend.

I mentioned my husband’s sport on here years ago (he’s a pro) and within minutes I had a PM from someone saying they knew who I was. I’ve never mentioned it since 🤣

Ah well, I’ve only ever known one person who did it, must be why I thought it was rarer, lol

I don’t know any base jumpers. Now I’m middle aged I don’t know any surfers anymore.

It isn't the sport on it's own though.
There are some seriously weird stalkers on here. The issue is you put in one thread that you (or dh) do Lacrosse, or water polo, then weeks later you happen to be on another thread about something completely different and mention about you being vegan, then later you say you live in the NE, then elsewhere you say you have 4 dc.
None of those are outing on their own, but once they are all put together, it would be pretty identifying. It is pretty naïve to think otherwise.
