Red patch on throat...paranoid?? (TW: graphic issues)

Hi all

I have huge health anxiety and am particularly focused on my mouth and throat health due to long term struggles with an ED and too much googling

I have noticed a red raised patch on the back of my throat. It isn't painful and I'm not sure when it appeared. It looks like a patch of thickened cells.

I have already convinced myself it's throat cancer. I tried to book a gp appointment last week (for something unrelated) and the earliest appointment was in 6 weeks - i can mention this then but I won't be able to see anyone before this.

Would anyone be able to have a look and maybe give my head a wobble? Really panicking. I dont smoke but I drink probably too much and struggle with acid reflux which are both big risk factors.

P.s. the white stuff on my tongue is toothpaste! Have just brushed my teeth haha

Looks like a normal pink/red throat to me - mine looks worse and is 'normal'...

I’ve no idea, but you might be able to get a dental appt before then. They will also have a good idea whether it’s anything concerning.

Also due a dentist visit in Feb...knowing my dentist there's no hope of being seen sooner
