Are you going abroad next summer?

I'm in the process of booking for us to Spain for two weeks at the end of July...I'm usually good at finding something to fit our budget but this year the price of accommodation has really increased!
We don't have a huge income but value a family holiday and budget for it. One dc is disabled and I'm their full-time carer, we don't eat out much and drive an older car!
This is probably the last year my eldest dc will want to come with us so we are spending a bit more and have booked a three-bedroom apartment right on the beach which meets the needs of disabled dc by being ground floor with a garden given direct step-free access to the pool (not easy to find).

The total cost for 3 adults and 1 child for flights, car hire, travel insurance, airport parking and apartment is £2800 which is the most we have ever paid for a holiday!

We won't spend a lot when we are there though because it suits us better to cook and eat in due to the needs of disabled dc.

How much are you planning to spend this year if you are fortunate enough to afford a holiday abroad? Are you finding it more expensive this year?
