I've got into a habit of only getting out of bed 5 minutes before my daily team call at 9.30. I literally can't get up any earlier. I live in a houseshare and my desk is right next to my bed. So I just reach over and open my laptop at 9.25. I always have my camera off, but some of my colleagues have theirs on and at 9.30 they have full faces of makeup, are dressed up, have been for a run etc. But I'm still in bed.
I really need to start getting up earlier and using my mornings to do something useful rather than lying in bed. Any tips for getting up?
I used to get up at 7 every day to commute. Sometimes I'd get up at 6 and go to the gym first. I just don't know how I did it. I've tried going to bed earlier but generally don't get tired until about 11.30/midnight.
