How do you sleep at night??

I often listen to birdsong on Amazon on my way to sleep but I would like to mix it up. I can't do anything with water because it makes me want to pee. Waves make me chilly and want to pee. Any recommendations?

I listen to. Podcast / radio show / audiobook that is interesting enough to take my mind off my worries, but boring enough to make me druggy off. I find “in our time” on radio 4 is perfect.

There's a thing on audible where Jamie Dorian basically whiskers in your ear.

I Do Not Recommend. Blush

Yoga Nidra sometimes works for me.

The Nothing Much Happens podcast. Honestly can’t recommend it enough it has changed my life. I can finally sleep rather than just lie there thinking about stuff.

I used to listen to this but then she started introducing random Non-Bahnaree characters and it was really jarring to be lying almost asleep and then hear "Chef brought me over a cup of coffee and I thanked them for the pie they made yesterday". Who made the pie? Who was the speaker thanking?

Thunderstorms or a mindfulness "Body Scan" or melatonin.

I've just popped back to this thread because I have discovered brown noise. White noise makes my heart race. But brown noise is more middle register. It seems to hit the spot.

I am sniggering immaturely because this reminds me of my school days and the legend of The Brown Noise. This was an alleged sound frequency which would cause uncontrollable loosening of sphincters and mass defecation.
