Places with a good vibe where you don't feel uneasy?

Inspired by the recent thread about places you couldn't wait to leave- which places have you been with a good vibe?

Some I can think of:

Bognor Regis and the surrounding area, in fact much of West Sussex

Frome

Warminster and the nearby villages

South London

Scotland West Coast and North Coast

North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales

County Durham

New York City - love its energy

Alicante

Provence region
