Monster under the bed

Last night in bed I couldn’t sleep as usual kept getting hot and bothered sticking my feet out from under the covers, I am an adult with children a home and all that jazz, and all I could think was to quickly put my feet back under the cover so the monster under the bed won’t drag me under the divina that has not even enough space for an ant to crawl under I have been giggling to my self all day 🤷‍♀️

I know how you feel! I woke up the other day at 4am after watching a scary movie.
I really had to pee, but i was very worried something under my bed might grab my ankle if I get out of bed and pull me under.
In my head I knew its stupid and impossible, but this feeling just didnt go away and made me shiver. I actually stood up on my bed and jumped out as far as possible. Went to the bathroom and when i came back I ran and jumped back onto the bed.
DH almost fell out of bed and got really upset because its obviously completely crazy what I was doing! 🙈

I have never been scared of monsters under the bed, because you know, I’m an adult🙄
and as an adult I’m aware that it’s the vampires you need to watch out for! So feet out but quilt tucked in really tight under my chin, that’ll stop them!! 🤣

Surely everyone knows that the monster under the bed only gets you when you put your feet on the floor?

It's the monster in the toilet that comes out when you flush that scares me.

No the ones that live in the bedroom wardrobe are the scariest. They can open doors.

Sod the monster under the bed, it's the psycho killer clown in the wardrobe you want to watch out for.

No monsters under the bed... just have to put the light on in the bathroom in case there's snakes in the toilet...

I glad I’m not the only one, also I don’t allow pot doll in the house them thing are going to chase me through the house 🤣🤣

That is so funny I've laughed my head off!

I went through a phase of having to wash my hands at night with my eyes closed, in case the Woman in Black appeared in the mirror in front of me. I never used to turn on the en suite light in case it woke DH, so my eyes would make out all sorts of shapes and I'd be terrified. I'd race back into bed and hide completely under the covers.

@Babymamaroon - I have never been able to look in a mirror when the room is dark, ever since I was very little. I can't hold conversations with people via a mirror either (like hairdressers or taxi drivers). It freaks me out.

I do this too and I've got one of those beds with drawers in it, if anything could fit under my bed it would only be about 5cm tall!

I did have to wrestle a furry little monster out from under my sons bed at about 4.30am, it wasn't happy with me!

Shutting a mirrored cabinet door in the bathroom. That's when the monsters appear behind you.

My husband still believes this, and will therefore only sleep completely covered by his duvet from neck to toes, no sticky out limbs no matter how hot it is!😂
