Moving to Bath area

I am planning to move to the Bath area this year, preferably a village around bath with good transport links. Which would you recommend and why?
Budget is fairly good, good bus service is important.

Combe Down, on the bus route, 30 minute walk from town and Rainbow Woods/The Firs park close by. Local shops close by too.

Fond memories of attending the primary school there when I was little.
