Why are Fever-Tree tonic cans so small?

When gin glasses are so big? I end up needing to use two for each drink!

You need more gin!

How much gin are you putting in a glass? I prefer the slightly larger bottles of fevertree tonic as I can get 2 glasses of gin from them.

I think a little tin is perfect for a single measure of gin. So two (or a bottle) for a double.

A little tin (150ml) is perfect for a double!

You need a measure though.

50ml gin + 150ml tonic glass
Full Of ice.

I am so glad to find this thread. These 7.5oz tonic cans are such a bother. Throughout my home cocktail experience, one 12 oz GLASS bottle of Schweppes produced two well-crafted (2:1 ratio) 3oz gin / 6oz tonic cocktails. What's a person to do with these 7.5oz abominations? Too small for two decent drinks and a whole new set of glassware is needed if one tries to make a single drink from one of these cans. WHY?

I love the little cans - I have a load of ice, a measure of raspberry gin and a little can of elderflower tonic. Perfect!

Is anyone still finding Schweppes 12 oz glass bottles (definitely not plastic) on their store's shelves?

IamSmarticus, how many ozs gin in the "measure of gin"? What's your preferred ratio, gin to tonic?

I use about half of one of the small cans in a g&t but then I like to be able to taste the gin!

Double measure of gin lots of ice plus little can = perfect

I really dislike the big balloon glasses places use for gin. I prefer a tall glass and the can is pretty perfect

Not sure to be honest, I've got one of those metal measuring things that I think came as part of a gift set. It has no measurements on it but I do tend to use the large side, which I assume is a double!
