Weird birthday present requests

Our newly-turned 6 year old asked for a back scratcher for his birthday. He LOVES it.

Not birthday, but at 6 my ds asked for and loved a back scratcher from Santa!

My dd6 has asked for a "surprise box with a sloth in it" and I have no clue what she actually means! She already has a back scratcher which she loves 😂

Jar of olives and some tomato source sachets!

My ds asked for a rabbit (no lead) or a baby brother or sister, every birthday and xmas. When we told him he was getting the sibling he cried and said he wanted the rabbit 😁

Like a Jack-In-A-Box but with a sloth.

Instead of popping up it just opens an eye lazily for a few seconds and goes back to sleep.

DS asked for a JML shower feet for his 5th birthday. When he was around 7/8 he asked for duct tape, rope, cardboard and a Stanley knife from Santa (he wanted to make a den, Santa disappointed that year). He's 14 now and asked for a terrarium.

Really need a back scratcher now 🤣

When my youngest was 6 all he wanted was a stick. I went down to the garden and got him a very robust stick, spent a fortune on 'proper' toys. Which he ignored because he'd got his beloved stick.

Grabber/ litter picker (was school litter monitor at the time) and a shoe horn (like his grandma)

One of the kids I used to nanny for asked for a cotton blazer and a woolen blazer when he was 5.

My colleagues two year old asked for Broccoli.

My DS got a back scratcher for Christmas when he was 5 or 6

Toilet roll, because she liked stacking them 😆 and four finger KitKat's, because clearly I'm tight and only buy two finger ones!

My 3 y o wanted a carrot with a face for her birthday. Thankfully jellycat do a very sweet one.

That's so funny. They might also like a back scrubber from tooletries. I got my husband one for Christmas and 3 year old daughter has decided she loves it 🤣

Ds wanted an air raid shelter when he was about 4 or 5.
When covid lockdown started (about 7 years later) he was very keen to construct one, but I channelled him into "Digging for Victory" and planting potatoes instead.

My DS asked Santa for 100 elastic bands one year around age 7 - he delivered a ball of elastic bands which meant one happy child.

Dd asked for a rice cooker for her 18th

When DS was about 4 he wanted Baby Balls for Christmas. We didn’t then and still don’t know what he meant. So, we bought him bouncy balls, marbles, dog balls, tennis balls - loads of balls, but non were what he wanted.

I asked for a drill for my 18th. My grandparents bought it for me - still going many years later.
Such kudos at uni and in house shares that I could put up shelves etc and my grandparents were so very proud that I was an independent girl (woman would have been better, but I was their granddaughter!)

Are you sure he didn't mean baby bels?! I'm imagining your DS unwrapping all these balls when all he wanted was mini cheese 😅
