British Gas messaging

Hi, just a quick one. Is anyone else constantly getting the message on the BG app that messaging has no one available right now?
Been trying to contact them for days and it doesn't seem to matter when I try, there's no way to contact them.
I don't even know how I'd phone customer services since this no longer appears to be an option.

I feel your pain. I have lost hours to them recently. The number you want (Monday to Friday 9-5, mind) is 0333 202 9802.

Grr. I have tried to call BG but they are literally uncontactable. They have a recorded message saying that due to high demand from customers needing boiler/supply issues to be fixed, they've closed all other methods of communication until further notice!
I can't believe how shit this level of service is, for a national energy supplier

They are proper shit. I remember when I moved houses, my new supplier was BG. I wanted to set up direct debit with them and their lines are open only during office hours. How am I supposed to do it? In the end I didn't do it and I'm very glad it worked out this way. They will only get money for what I used, I won't be funding their cash flow 😐
