Evri delays!

Has anyone else had things delayed with Evri? I know in the run up to Christmas it wasn't great but today I've had one parcel lost totally, 2 delayed and one status unknown with no update from them. I'm starting to think I just won't buy from companies that use them anymore. How can they get away with being so rubbish??

I haven't had any issues with EVRi but Royal Mail are still absolutely hopeless round here. Ordered stuff on "nominated day" delivery. Sent via Royal Mail tracked 24. Came 3 days late.

I can only assume delivery companies are trying to get caught back up from the pre christmas nightmare but there'll also be an increased volume from the Boxing Day sales.

Yes, they have ‘lost in transit’ our parcel we’ve been waiting 2 weeks for. They’re shambolic but am beginning to wonder if they could collapse.

RM are worse here.

Still waiting on an item that should have been delivered 9th Dec. Excuses include bad weather (have had no bad weather!). They are such a cowboy company.

Delayed item here 😞 ordered some wool for a project from a company I’ve ordered stuff with loads of times before and evri have had the item “delayed” for days now. Can’t speak to anyone. Frustrating.

Our local Evri guy is amazing and super helpful but it seems the parcels aren't even getting to this area. It's frustrating and I hate thinking how much must be going to waste as "lost" parcels

Evri reliable here, although not RM. Must be locally variable.

Same here. Our local guy is brilliant but, for the first time ever, I’ve had a parcel stuck at the Evri depot. I do know the sheer volume has overwhelmed them as people looked for other delivery services because of RM strikes.

I am still waiting for:
2 Royal Mail parcels from the first week of December -both with tracking.
1 Evri parcel from the 2nd week in December
and I just ordered something this week that Evri tell me they have received but that also hasn’t made its way to our local man as yet…

My friend worked for them, over Xmas they were paying temps much more per hour than their loyal staff. Many quit, thus the expertise exited and cock ups increased.

My parcel says that it was involved in a road incident, has done for the last 3 days very much doubt I’ll ever see it dread to think how long it’ll take for ASOS. To recognise the problem and refund me I’m going to try and not place anymore orders for a few weeks let things calm down

I am still awaiting a parcel that was left at a drop-off centre on 1st December. Apparently they will collect it soon. I know it's got lost, but they aren't admitting that!

3 lost items within 6 months. Recently 1 item took a month !! to arrive.
And that was October. Currently been waiting 3 weeks for a parcel. Deliveries always left outside in the rain and unsafe place, not even a knock on the door. This is all Evri. I understand the workers pay isn't great and they work on time, it's a rush to make more money so they need to do fast drop offs. But again it comes down to having to pay people more to fix these things.

Evri have just delivered a parcel of Christmas gifts to me that I had got a refund for and reordered. Lovely new courier said everything she delivered today has been a Christmas gift and she's been given loads of hassle. I'm wondering whether my other missing parcels will arrive. Trying to work out how I now return this given I've already had a refund!

I had something delivered by Evri today that was dropped off with them in late November.

My Nov 'lost in transit' parcel arrived Saturday!
