Can I have an ice lolly after D and V?

I have D and V. First day was hell. Arse on toilet and head in the sink. I stopped eating after that which was Wednesday early afternoon.

Yesterday wasn't great with very little warning to get to the bathroom. A couple of times I only just made it, a couple of times I didn't. 😦Didn't eat, just rested.

So far today I do feel better, the cramps have gone but I'm still a little bit sore here and there. Nothing has gone on yet but there won't be any food in me. The thing is I had an illness before this for quite a while that really impacted my appetite so this has made me feel quite shaky.

The only thing I can really fancy is an ice lolly. Is that going to make it worse somehow? I don't really feel ready for toast.

I could probably drink a coke, does it have to be flat?

Ice lolly should be fine. It you have a Coke just sip it; loads of liquid at once will probably make you sick again.

Ice lolly will be fine it's just the same as a flat cola isn't it. Hope you feel better soon

Ice lolly ie a Fab or Rocket water type will be fine. But I'd stay away from Magnum ice cream based type ones.

I’d usually give the kids and ice lolly at about this stage, bit of sugar for energy but nothing likely to feed the bacteria (if that’s a thing) so I say crack on

Ice lolly sounds perfect. Hope you feel better soon.

Perfect after a bug

@NancyJoan Thanks, I'll bear that in mind.

@Mrsjayy Thank you, I'm looking forward to getting over this!
