Least "worst" courier service?

I need to send a time sensitive registered document in the UK. Can't trust Royal Mail. Hear dire things about EVRI, DPD, DHL and seemingly all of them!

Anyone regularly use a service (for the South East) that they actually recommend?!

I think it depends on where you live and even who your deliverers are. I
like Evri here. My RM post people seem to pretend to ring the doorbell but we never hear them-even if all home. We always hear the redelivery though.

Royal Mail special delivery is back to normal now, I’d just use that
