Hi lovely Mumsnetters - please help me with this question!
Tiling the floor - one pack of tiles has 11 square tiles at 30cmx30cm each.
How many packs do I need to cover 16 square metres?
My brain is mush after this move and I simply cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance x

11 tiles would cover a metre - it should say on the box. Usually 0.9M or 1.2M

9 tiles would be just short of 1 metre squared.

Using a tile calculator like this is easiest as you need to allow for breakage.

9 tiles will almost cover 1 sq metre, with 2 tiles left for cutting.
I'm guessing you'll need 16 packs.
My brain isn't at its optimum either, so we'll see what further responses are! 😄

I would get a minimum of 17 boxes depending on weird cuts around pipes or awkward angles. Best to get a couple extra boxes to allow for breakage and any changesor damage in the future if the tiles are discontinued.
