Feeling really stupid!

Hi I'm so stupid right now. I was taking sertraline at 100mg for ptsd. I decided I was better over the holidays and stopped taking it. I did some incredibly stupid things including sleeping with a stranger with no protection. I'm a complete mess I am waiting for a dr to call back but I'm so ashamed and feel like such a prat

What do you need? We've all done stupid things under the right conditions. Please don't beat yourself up too much

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I don't know what i need . I'm all over the place I can't think straight at all. The only thing I do know is I need some kind of help

Are you back on the medication?

I started taking them the other day. I don't knownif that was right or wrong as I just went to the 100mg straight away

You've done the right thing calling the GP. Are you working currently? Have you got any kind of support through your workplace?

I am concerned that you were not aware of the problems that can arise if you stop sertraline suddenly - did the GP not explain that to you? It is in the instructions in the packet.

It is important that you now go back to your GP and sort it all out. And you need to get your sexual health checked too.

No im not working at the moment. I have a really good friend who is amazing. I did tell her and she is the one who got me to do the dr request. I'm ok I feel very down and don't really want to see anyone but then that changes in a few mins.

See the Doc and get the medication sorted

I've been taking it since July
