My 4 yr old ( 5 at beginning of feb) is quite an active and very talkative child. But some weeks he is really well behaved and does what you ask all the time then for the next few days he will be really, really defiant and be totally hyper and just not listen at all!
Then he will go back to being well behaved again.
I'm just not sure what is going on as his behaviour is not consistent and there does not seem to be any particular thing that happens to change his behaviour.
He started school in September and took a while to settle in. They have mentioned he is very active and intelligent but nothing they are too concerned about.
Me and his dad are separated and have been since he was 1 year, just to give you the full picture.
Does anyone else have a child like this whose behaviour will change week to week?
