Drayton Manor or Alton Towers

We're planning on visiting our family in Manchester sometime this year, maybe Easter. We will be getting the Ferry from Ireland to Holyhead. We're looking at going to either Drayton Manor or Alton Towers too. Which is more suitable for a 5 and 3 year old? Any advice of things to do with them would be great. Thank you in advance.

My knowledge is 25 years old but always used to be Drayton Manor for young kids. There is Thomas World there now too.

Tamworth really isn’t that close to Manchester though.

I would definitely choose Drayton Manor for that age group. Thomas Land is great they can go on everything in that area and the queues aren’t usually too bad.
