Needing ideas to help 95 year old

I have my husband's 95 year old granny coming to stay with us for a few nights due to a flood in her home. I need tips on how to help her wash and go to the loo etc. She's not very mobile but has managed up til now in her own home. We only have an over bath shower so is there another way I can help her wash? Any tips and ideas very welcome.

A stool in the bath?
Can you put in hand rails on the bath wall? Toilet wall.
Anti slip bath mats/rugs
A warm bathroom
Granny might prefer just to use a bowl to body wash sometimes
Does she use a walking aid? Make sure there's no clutter on floor/ potential trip hazards.
I'm sure there's more others will think of.

Given the state of the NHS right now I’d strongly advise you to avoid the bath altogether, as far as she’s concerned. No ambulance is coming if she slips or gets stuck. As it’s only a few days she’ll probably be ok to just use the sink. Do you have room for a chair to be pulled up close to it?

If you have time to attach handrails around the loo that would be a good idea.

PP is right - make sure all your floors are non-slippery and clear of clutter! I’ve known someone break their arm slipping on a random magazine left on the floor.

You can hire toilet frames from the Red Cross. Your GP surgery might also be able to advise you of other local services too.
