Should I call in sick?

I've had to call in sick today from work because I feel pretty bad. Weird headache, sinus pain, chesty cough and bad ringing and buzzing in my head/right ear.
I've got a big trip tomorrow at work which means I'll be out from 8am to 11pm at night. In all honesty I can probably drag myself through it but I probably wouldn't be doing myself any favours or anyone else either (it's a children's singing concert, and I'm coughing with a croaky voice).
I feel so guilty though. The trip would still go ahead if I didn't go but the guilt is making me question myself and whether I should just go, because I'd probably be 'ok'. I think it's just a cold ...but a pretty nasty one.

Should I just bite the bullet and tell them I'm not going? Even if I feel better tomorrow?

That sounds almost exactly how I started off with the flu. It's spreading really fast.. hope you feel better soon!

@whatjobs it's very odd. The ringing in my head is the worst and that's the only thing paracetamol doesn't touch!

Some DR on the TV this morning said to not send children to school with coughs and adults shouldn't go into work if possible.
Apparently Flu/Covid cases in hospitals are through the roof right now.
Easier said than done sometimes though

I'd call work, explain, then ask them what they want you to do. Shows willingness- but my bet is they'll tell you to stay home.
