Has anyone got one of these? Do they work? I really struggle with drinking water and these seem like a good way to get more water as I’m starting my weight loss journey.

My DS has one and loves it! Not all the flavour pods are as strong though so sometimes you totally can taste what you smell and other less so.. we love honeydew melon

WombatStewForTea · 05/01/2023 00:33

Loads of my class got them for Christmas. I went round smelling them all today and now I want one but not sure if it's worth the price

Pushingdaisys · 05/01/2023 16:57

I’ve ordered one today hopefully it will be good 👍🏼

Both of my DC have them and love them! They do really work. Although the pods don’t last as long as the company claim them to! I agree with a pp that some are stronger than others. Typically, my two prefer the premium pods…..! 🙄 also, Dash water is really nice if you prefer flavour to your water. In cans and sparkling. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

DS got one for his birthday and I kept pinching it so I got my own. I love it, they are great! Really do help me with drinking water which I never used to do. However I must say that my OH can't taste a thing and thinks it's a total con, so it clearly doesn't work for everyone.

creamwitheverything · 05/01/2023 19:29

My dd 11 yrs and most of her class swear by them! I think they are a bit of a gimmick but they are very popular. The tablets go a long way making it good value it seems, I was surprised you didnt have to change them after every bottle,

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 05/01/2023 19:35

My DD came home from school ranting about these. Apparently most of her class are obsessed with them. DD is autistic and very straightforward - she thinks they're a "total scam."

Georgieporgie29 · 05/01/2023 19:39

My DD got one for Christmas. She thought she had put the pod on wrong because she could hardly taste (smell) it but the second one (different flavour) seems to be ok so it was probably as previous people say and some pods are stronger. Are sure you go the referral thread for 20% off before you order as they’re pretty expensive and that was the only discount I could find.

Season0fTheWitch · 05/01/2023 20:11

You definitely need to try a few flavours before writing them off. I ordered them for the whole family and nearly asked for a refund after trying the first flavour. Definitely worth it now though, I drink like a fish which is helping my BFing

Hi can I ask what the second flavour you tired was?

These are great to 'trick' the senses into drinking water over anything else. I was talking to someone recently who has a child that is more susceptible to getting diabetes and they find these great for drinking more water and less fizzy drinks. I got two for mine here on that grounds and they definitely drink more water now. Brilliant things even if a bit pricey.

livingthegoodlife · 05/01/2023 20:28

My DD got one for Christmas & hates it. The flavours are quite artificial so for example the orange flavour tastes like flat Tango. I think the peach one tastes a bit like iced tea. The lemon one smelt like lemon sherbets but doesn't taste of much.

Sadly it's wasted on my daughter as doesn't like it and it cost about £35! Look out for 20% off discounts online & referral codes.

hmmmintereting · 05/01/2023 20:44

My daughter has one. Great idea, but I don't think they are comfortable to drink out of - the spout thing is chunky and too small. (I have a smallish/normal mouth).

Pushingdaisys · 05/01/2023 20:46

Thanks everyone! x

I didn't realise but when you suck its like sucking air and water ? Not just water through the straw. My friend bought one and couldn't get past that feeling like when you get to the end of a drink and are sucking the last bits with air.

I agree with your daughter 😆

MaverickGooseGoose · 25/01/2023 08:00

Dts have them as do most of their class. I think they taste horrible and synthetic and are a waste of money. I suspect I am not their target market though!

Bowbellsx · 25/01/2023 08:17

shit a waste of money

Dd and most of her classmates got them for Christmas! Honestly thought they were a fad at first but dd has been drinking so much water every day , it’s great ! She’s very careful with the pods because I said I wouldn’t be buying them until her birthday , she got a few packs , around 20 pods altogether and she’s only used 4! So great value !
she has some trick where she puts the pod in it’s sealed packed and in the fridge overnight and she’s convinced it brings the scent back !

Bibibans · 18/03/2023 22:38
