Is anyone else struggling with the school holidays?

Rain and wind Every. Single. Day.
Skint after Christmas and with a January birthday
Nothing to do due to both of the above!!

Before anyone says it, I've been doing my best to enjoy the lazy days etc. We've had some lovely lazy days, but I am not an id or person and I am just finding the holidays really hard!

For some reason our school shut on like the 23rd and don't return until the 9th of jan!!!! Whyyyy wouldn't they give us that week before Christmas when everything is nice and exciting!

Ahhhhh! I love my little boys entirely but I'm finding these holidays tough!!

School holidays in winter are tough. Personally I prefer more time post Christmas as they have their Christmas gifts to play with.

Yes. The weather has been awful. YANBU.

I prefer the time now. I don't want mine going back yet. I would have wasted the exciting week.

I know this is an ancient thread but the summer has been a washout too. Hottest June on record , a week of rain start of July and forecast is rain for ages.
